Designed with a 5,000-watt, this kit requires 32 square feet of unobstructed south-facing space to capture the maximum solar power from the sun. It can produce between 500 to 8,000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of current (AC) power per month. This assumes you have around five hours of sunlight daily and your solar panels face south.

String inverter systems, when exposed to full sunlight, are an economical choice for residential solar setups. To make the most of your solar power, it's best to position the panels with a clear view of the sun in the south direction. However, if your panels are partially shaded by objects like trees or chimneys, the output of the string inverter, as well as the entire system's output, will decrease accordingly.
